I know how important the price for your wedding photography is - I really do. I've been doing this for over 20 years and I've been bargain basement cheap when I started, and I've been £3000 + in the not too distant past. Weddings have evolved and grown and changed with the world and I've adapted to those changes. I've built a simplified collection of services that reflect my experience, my commitment to creating the photography that you will actually want, and my dedication to be of service to you and your wedding, and everything that it takes to make my part in it as good as it should be.
My business has to be sustainable so I can simply continue to work with the same integrity for all of my clients.
That doesn't mean that I can charge 'what I want' and get away with it. In fact I'm now generally less than most photographers with my kind of experience, and I'm proud of the fact that I don't over-charge for what I do.
I don't do 'Price Shopping'. Like i said, I know price is important, but it's a mistake to make this the only metric when choosing your wedding photographer, so if your only communication with me or deciding factor is "What's the Price?" then I really might not be the photographer for you - and that's OK by the way...
And lastly, if you can't make yourself available for a phone call, then it's unlikely that I will send through the prices - there's so much nuance and character involved in working together, and I just wouldn't want to end up being an anonymous figure on a scale of numbers on an excel doc.
This is the stuff that photographers dont want to talk about because they don't want to scare you off, but I know that for this to really work, and for you to get the best price-to-quality ratio with your photography, making real connections is where it's at.
Basically, the people that connect with me, get a great set of natural pictures from their wedding, and don't over-spend on their photographer - discovering the prices in this process is just the icing on the cake.
